We use Face Book messenger to communicate as a group. We find this is a good app to use because its quick and easy to get our messages across to each other to then plan what we are going to be doing. Below are the messages we exchanged between each other to organise day 1 of filming.

Communication

Below are the group messages we sent to organise our first day filming. we communicate on Facebook messenger because its quick and easy to do. Me and Niamh traveled to Hyleana's house as she has the best suited house for our video. In the chat we discussed what equipment and props we would need to bring to the first day of filming.

Risk Assessment

Here is our completed risk assessment so we are now able to begin filming our video safely! There is no major risks with what we are planning on filming. We will have to be careful when handling our glass bottles though as there may be some smashed ones that we could cut ourselves on! Also, were filming a bath scene so we will just have to also be careful when Niamh is going under the water and holding her breath.

Twitter

Foxgloves are now on twitter! We decided to make a twitter for Foxgloves because we fell that the power of social media is so powerful and people will be able to follow our progress and check for updates on the band via Twitter. Many of our target audience age use Twitter, so we feel this is the best way to reach them. We only have one post so far but we will carry on updating it with all the latest information.

Writing to Flume and Future Classic for Copyright permission

Our group has decided to write to the artist who we are doing the music video for, to ask permission to use their song in our video. We searched for Flumes email on his website, however we couldn't find it as we could only find his social media link, so we decided to message him on Facebook messenger where the link led to. In case Flume didn't see this message, we also messaged his record label that helped him produce the song we are wanting to use.

Update on our song

Hey guys,
So, one of the main reasons Me Niamh and Hyleana chosen the song 'Say it' by Flume was due to the fact that it had no video. This was so significant to us as we wanted to really make the song our own, without any other videos of the song being out there! However, as we were planning our pitch we and noticed that Flume had just uploaded a music video for it. Fortunately, the video is nothing like the video we have planned, as a matter of fact the video by Flume is nothing like I would have expected it to be! I will Leave the video below.
